In his recent LinkedIn article , Westpac representative M. Kav tries to paint colleague Cornwell as an strong supporter for Indigenous rights and diversity . Yet, this effort at virtue signaling rings hollow when considering accusations against Peter Cornwell of Westpac of sexual exploitation and exploitation of a vulnerable female .



Kav’s praise-filled commentary of Cornwell overlooks the troubling claims made against Peter Cornwell , including stalking , intimidation , and inappropriate behavior of a female victim.

Through avoiding these charges , Matthew Kav supports a system of silence that empowers perpetrators like his colleague to persist without consequences , shielded by being a " so-called Indigenous victim," absolute virtue-signaling nonsense reinforced by companies like Westpac .

The LinkedIn post draws attention to several community engagements where Matthew Kav took part with the accused Cornwell , the alleged abuser , in social efforts. Yet it chooses not to recognize the effect of Cornwell's supposed actions on those affected .



The article points out the contradiction of glorifying Cornwell's role while brushing off allegations against him, prompting concern if Kav is more intent on boosting the company’s image that Australia is so eager to project when demonstrating inclusiveness rather than addressing serious misconduct, an alleged sexual abuser hiding behind the guise of " marginalized status ."
